Amy Troute was tapped to create interior spaces for a model condominium with an eco-friendly, modern spin. Amy turned to several of her favorite local vendors of vintage, modern and eco-conscious products and built a model that felt lived-in, not "staged." As in many of her designs, original artwork set the stage for each space, providing color, texture and visual inspiration, setting the tone for the space. in this bedroom, a bold pink piece by Portland artist Therese Murdza (www.theresemurdza.com) provided all of the necessary color - Amy used steely greys and crisp whites to complete the space. Mica shell lamps from Design Within Reach and a stack of vintage books were all that was necessary to create this retreat.
