The deep purple shrub in the far background is Loropetalum purple majesty. It has sizzling hot pink flowers in the spring and can become a large large shrub. It is evergreen/ er.. ummm. ever purple. ;-)
orange flowering plants on the right - the one with the larger flower and leaves are Canna Tropicana. In front of it , with the narrow strappy leaves and smaller flowers is Kangaroo Paws ( Anigozanthos). Both do great in bright sun and would do well on a hillside .
