Hello valluea, I'd concur with the idea to get an extended crank from your hardware manufacturer. If they do not carry the item, maybe change out the hardware when you are remodeling to one that has such an item. For the latching casements, check your local area for a sheet-metal or iron-worker;

that part of the renovation project? I want to have a window seat put in my new home. Been trying to come up with ideals of how to make it all work out and blend in with living room. This is beautiful. Can you please tell me the size of the wall the seat was built into. What types of windows were
mattress. The seating area is 3' wide by 6'-8" long. The built-in bookshelves at each end of the window seat add a couple more feet to the overall bump-out. I hope this helps.
Hi jbuffard2! Sorry for taking so long to respond to your question. I was out of town for a conference and am now catching up. The windows on either side of the fireplace are approximately 1'-9" wide by 1'-8" tall. Let me know
