How thick is the countertop? And what edge was used?
I think that's Calacatta marble. I don't think it's granite, but if you're looking for a granite that's similar to marble, try quartzite. http://www.marble-granites.com/products/Granite/Cristallo.aspx?p=243

I love the combination here, but could you recommend another countertop that might also look good with this backsplash and white cabinets? I am just to nervous to do marble countertops but would love to use this backsplash! Thanks...:)
What is the countertop please. Thanks
