Can you reface the cabinets you already have with reclaimed wood for less money?

Populer wood for a project like this? It is a very white wood, have heaps of it that I got for free from the saw mills.
protect the wood. On this piece we specified a white- wash stain on reclaimed oak and my guess is that the final finish is probably Duravar or similar.

variety of reclaimed wood, either as-is salvaged pieces or machined to make a t&g panelling with the original antique surface! There are other great reclaimed timber companies salvaging wood on the west coast as well.

Hi. Is there a type of treatment on the reclaimed wood cabinets for protection against spills and water damage?

use of reclaimed wood. We find our wood being used more and more with clean, contemporary lines and light colors. Nice work, Richard.
We had originally specified an Isokern fireplace (my first choice), however the homeowner and GC had substituted it for a Heatilator wood burning fireplace.

Gas or wood? I am looking for a tunnel, i.e two sided glass wood stove and would love to find a source.
This looks great. Where did you get the reclaimed oak and how much does it typically cost?
love the reclaimed wood finish- if I can't afford the stone, perhaps this could be another option that would come in a little less pricey? Thanks for any help on the firebox manufacturer! Amy
Also, the reclaimed wood will probably be less expensive than the stone depending on what species of wood and what type of stone you choose. Also depending on how thick the stone is, you may need to support it with a foundation.
Vintage Wood and I believe they work with US clients too. Good luck :)
