They are reclaimed but that is as much as I know from the photographers point of view.

What wood is used for the island counter?
wood plus white counter tops / cabinets. Wood too rustic though
Lots of storage!! Don't like wood island top though.
Having a timber bench island bench top & remainder stone or laminex
Island size and layout, but do a solid counter instead
