Campbell found the various reclaimed wood planks used on the kitchen island and beams at a local lumber mill. Instead of painting over it, she left the wood as is to show the character of each piece. Where is the reclaimed wood from?
was re-claimed from a barn a Mennonite family was dismantling in Southern Ontario, Canada. We then re-planed the 3 unexposed sides for the horizontal siding and re-planed all of the sides for the vertical siding. The whole process was facilitated by The Wood Source here in Ottawa. http://www.wood-source

I have similar reclaimed pine floors that are too fragile for a commercial sander, and I cannot find a local floor refinished that knows how to restore.
What wood is on the walls? What sizes width?
What type of flooring/ wood is this? It's beautiful!
to a rustic timber frame home! Very easy to clean and upkeep! Our reclaimed antique rustic pine floors are ready for Another 100 years!
Hello, It would look fantastic in a timber frame home. This is a reclaimed pine so the boards are a lot harder than new pine. Very easy to clean. The floors have
floors - modern heating and cooling keeps the boards at a more constant temp and this reduces the shrinkage. The remainder of the house is 200+ and has the same gaps. YOU can call in a specialist to pul out he old rope and refill, either with new rope or cut wood; depending on the size. Where are you located
