I believe it was a Benjamin Moore Semi solid stain on cedar, colour not recorded. The stain was brushed on the shingles (all sides) in a dry interior before installation,multiple coats, and 5 years on it still looks good on this south-facing wall. Eventually it will need refreshing, so not sure I would
