Love the red floor, but I love the floor bed more! Fantastic room!

I am super excited that I get to put in the painted floor I've been wanting in our upstairs. I was going to just buy cheap oak flooring that I found and paint that, but I like the rustic look of painted subfloors that I've seen. My husband is worried

I like the flooring as well. I don't like plain white walls. I think I like the grey wall, with white details and green accents (wall painting, drapes etc) and reddish brown floors. Columns are great too as long as they dont make the space appear small

The wood floor is lyptus. The owner feel in love with the eucalyptus floor in a B&B in Hawaii. Lyptus has a similar look. However, lyptus is much more affordable and an environmentally friendly
calculated the weight and provided the structural design . The aquarium sits on a steel angle that is attached to steel posts secured inside the wood framed wall. The wood surround was added after the tank was in place.
The tank projects from the wall by about 9". There is a hinged plastic cover on top, hidden behind the wood frame.
but the wood gives it more substance than modern materials.
structural engineer designed the steel-column support system that's attached to the exterior wall of the above floor. This allowed the massive tank to be suspended 48 inches from the floor, putting it at eye level. “It was interesting to see how people at a dinner party tended to line up along the tank
