was Mars red by Benjamin Moore. In this photo it looks more red. But in fact it's an orange/red colour.
Navajo Red is a similar color.
Red is eye catching. I prefer to see an accent wall of red against a black cabinet or floor versus a whole room painted red. An accent wall gives the eye somewhere to pause so it can take in the rest of the room.
