we took four small rooms out of the front for living room and vaulted the ceiling and putting a loft bedroom above the kitchen and only other room in house not a lot of space for stairs these are perfect

I've seen seems to indicate that if the space is "inhabitable"(coded by size ) then it must have stairs not ladder. How do you get around this??

I would like to know what brand of paint was used for the stairs. Does anyone know?
Frank Lloyd Wright was the original architect. We remodeled the interior at the request of the owner in a cottage style renovation.
Actually, the clients are of normal height. :) However, the closet door under the stairs is a smaller scale door. Our client wanted to use that space as a special play area for her grandchildren. It's a very cute space just right for kids
