what type of stone and what color is the countertop?
Still trying to find the material used for the countertops!
I have vanities and floor tile selected -- the only missing piece is the countertops -- and it's a big piece!

best. The vanity portion depth was just a couple inches shy of the sink top. I would say that it was 18" deep, which includes the overhang of the countertop. Yes, you could probably do 16" and still have a decent surface to apply make-up and do hair. Have a great day! Shane www.theinmancompany.com

With the countertop it is 85" x 43".

Like the post look, which might be better in our kitchen. Note countertop height.
Aprons. The apron is the piece of wood that travels under and around the countertop overhang. The standard apron height is approximately 3 inches, which can leave enough room for legs under the island countertop if the seat height is average.

Just an FYI, you need a minimum of 36" from the island to adjacent countertops, appliances etc. 42" is preferred.
1) Any type of man made material that would like similar to this? 2) Any type of laminate countertop? I realize it wouldn't be as beautiful. 3) Backsplash type, make and model? Thanks so much!

The cabinets were standard white cabinets. This is a second home for my clients, so I had my faux painter antique them vs. replacing them, which saved about $100,000 for this project. She is a fabulous artist, so I don't recommend this unless you have someone with a proven track
