River rocks come for rivers, and so here in the San Francisco Bay Area, this house is in Menlo Park, the rocks came from a local stone supplier (Lingso) and probably came from the California Sierras.

looks like rocks. The colors are drawn from the earth. I think that the storage features beneath the sink could've been more earthy (wicker instead of metal, perhaps) but I do like the function of that space.

similar "river rock" floor in my steam shower. Because of the uneven surface and natural contours of the pebbles, I periodically scrub the floor with Comet spray cleaner and a stiff brush. If you are considering a similar floor make sure to test a sample to see if you like the texture to stand on.
