5. Mix up window treatments. When designing curtains and shades for your master bedroom, don't make them all the same style. Full-length curtains on some windows and Roman shades on others are just enough of a risk to show that you were not scared to step outside of the box.

woven wood shades (w/ a TDBU feature shown) and wool drapes. I personally love this type of layered look behind a bed as it gives the room a very rich and warm feeling.
These blinds do have cords (hidden by the drapes). To my knowledge there isn't a manufacturer who makes tdbu shades w/out cords
style of the drapery is often referred to as either a tailored pleat drape or a brisby pleat drape. You can get similar custom wool drapes through The Shade Store which might be easier depending on where you're located. I hope you find this helpful. Thanks for your question.
White Oak and were installed by my local flooring contractor. The stain is a custom mix but was loosely based on Minwax English Chestnut (we worked up a custom mix to get a more "saturated" stain color). Thanks for your question. I hope this was helpful.

4. The architectural headboard + mirror. Here a tall, subtly shaped headboard is paired with a mirror to draw your eye up even more in this very vertical room. This room's scale is very irreverent: The narrow bed, tall headboard and large side table really work to add interest. Plus the two-tone wall
