Roll-up appliance doors. I guess the correct term for these is "tambour" doors.

Modern Living Room
garage door that goes staight up
i want a miniature version, but utilizes the hinges as it rolls up against the ceiling
this one lifts straight up, rather than folding up into the interior space. This style is best used in double-height spaces, where having a door roll in overhead would be complicated.
These sectional doors unlike most, don't have hinges nor do they pivot; they simply slide up to toward the high ceiling
is the living room literally opened to the outdoors, a terrace on one side becomes an extension of the inside. The tall space allows these doors to go up without having to turn into the space as is typical with garage doors — a potential conflict with two doors at a corner.

like the subway tiles but maybe an up to date or varying version. Also like option of black bench top as well
Like the roll down cover and the open shelves.
We mustn't forget bread boxes built into the cabinetry design. Oftentimes created as an appliance garage, the cavity behind the roll-up door serves as a near-airtight compartment that's great for bread as well.

with a coverlet or throw. Fold the coverlet so that it's about 18 to 24 inches across, and place it graphically at the foot of the bed. Or consider rolling it for a fresher twist.
White is the backbone of the shabby chic aesthetic, but pale wood is its most trusted companion. A bit works wonders to up the comfort level in any white room. What ways have you found to use white with wood?
