What's the best way to use paint to create a separation between rooms? In this photo, it looks like both colors are on one wall.
choose colors for rooms to seperate them when I have an architectural feature to define the division of the rooms. More importantly I think the colors should flow from one room to the next, especially when the rooms are so open to one another . If there is no architectural divider to work with then

this old house in the garden park neighbourhood in east van was divided into 3 suites when my clients purcahsed it. with a growing family, they bought the fixer upper with the intention of taking over the upper suite and opening up the main floor. in the process, the whole house has been gutted & refurbished
