Enjoy this pathway. It's easy to walk on and pretty too!
retrain me. I love that the slate nuggets don't get stuck between my toes and Mom's really happy now that I don't drag mud into the house! ... Bailey the dog. Photo by Danna Cain
I have only had one project where coyotes where a major concern and threat for clients 2 small dogs. Research showed that coyotes usually dig rather than jump over fence. So, at that site, 2' of wire fencing was buried at the base of their privacy fence. Large metal hooks were used to hold it down. Since
the wire fencing was buried it wasn't unsightly. The client reports that she has not had any issues with coyotes entering the property, however, the 2 dogs are not left outside overnight, so possibly there isn't sufficient "prey" for the coyotes to want to try very hard to enter. I've heard of great success

Where did you find the shelf? It compliments the room so well!
mosaics on the floor of this shower. The wall on the right side is the 6" plumbing wall to accommodate the hand held shower. This was built for a large dog so it is deep and wide. Approx. 42" wide x 24" deep x 44 high. Hope that helps! Good luck with your project!

This new kitchen design was created to eliminate dog pens. An L-shaped design allowed for a dog den base cabinet to be incorporated into the kitchen layout. Photo Credit: Betsy Bassett

This is a Nelson Automatic Dog Waterer. We added a small shut off switch to the right and ran the supply line behind the bead board. There is an additional shut off hidden in the cabinet to the right.

incredulous and very reluctant plumber install one under my coffee station in my kitchen for my wolfhound and great dane, and another in my laundry room for my cats (who refuse to drink out of a water bowl that the dane has slimed). I have never had a problem with flooding. There is a shut-off valve
automatic waterbowl for the dogs . SWEET!
A dream idea to have dog water bowls hidden & auto-refill!
Counter material is black granite. Nelson automatic dog watered. Can also purchase at local farm supply

Dog Bed
not in the dining room but maybe living room or game room...we will always have animals
I love this, and I think the dogs would love it.
in laundry room instead of kitchen
into the room and having a spot for his bed, but I don't want a built in feature that will make it harder to sell later.
Dog bed tucked neatly out of the way
A dog bed built for two! Because it's incorporated into the cabinetry design, the pups can safely sleep out of harm's way and not bother diners eating at the nearby table.Nestled underneath a countertop, the bed area uses wasted space and feels like a den for dogs. I am so glad to have discovered this
Just another day in the life of Their Royal Highnesses, moving from one lounge spot to the next as the hours tick by. Another nap in the built-in dog bed today? Sure, why not? So far, they’ve had only two.

How did you make or where did you get the dog door?

Brilliant human-and-dog shower combo (except when the dogs escape
A shower or spigot for muddy boots and dogs. A shower near the mudroom door is a great place to clean up before going inside.
Ask the guardian to keep the dog leashed outside (weather permitting). As with all things, it's your house, your rules. If the dog is barking too much or for too long, then
Brilliant human-and-dog shower combo (except when the dogs escape while soapy and make a break through the dog door). I love the clean, white corner. Simple and modern.
