Play/Guest House
could this room be a bedroom?
I want this room to be a bedroom
These colors for either playroom or boys' rooms
family room space, and the firepole is great.
etc) in kids game room- it would work for all three kids- age differences not a problem
Sofa TV in Diya deev room
The bunk so kids can read.
Tip: Create a guesthouse that serves double duty. When visitors aren't around at this one, the dining table turns into craft central, the living room becomes a lounge and a fire pole from the sleeping loft makes this the place to be for the kiddos as well as party guests. Photos: See more

These woven storage bins are from Pottery Barn Kids: http://www
love this coffee table. Also the orange cushions & the tiny kid chair
Speaking of kids: rope baskets are a great cure for clutter. They look great, come in an endless array of colors
Like this for family room but different color
Place a few storage bins in other rooms of the house where your child plays to make cleaning faster and less of a hassle. Having smaller bins will encourage kids to put their toys in when they're done, and take them to their playroom or bedroom later.

dresser labeling for younger kids - smart idea
Kids can see what is where instead of opening every drawer
chest of drawers into a work of art. Whether labelling a drawer’s contents, or letting your kids loose with the chalk, it’s sure to add serious fun factor to any child’s bedroom or playroom.
Tip for kids who can’t read yet: Make labels that include both the word and a simple drawing or photograph
Put it in writingMake a plain chest of drawers more kid-friendly by painting with blackboard paint. They can use coloured chalk to remind themselves of what goes in which drawer, and update it as they get

would love to know more about your flooring for this room!
Approximately how much did this room cost?
Not enough ceiling clearance - just going to make kids angry.
Great room! Are the walls padded? Can you please share what you used?
We are planning a hockey room and have a lot of boys who like contact!
what are the dimensions of the room; specifically how high is the ceiling?
What are dimensions of this room?
Amazing room, we are in the process of designing our house and my kids LOVE this room, as well as the media room. First thing my son said was that the padding was good for checking while playing hockey! Is there storage on the left wall?
Looks like a very fun room. Great job!
in getting back to you on your question. I don't have a price for this room alone, as it was part of a larger project. However, I can tell you the room is approximately 16' x 22' with a 9' ceiling. The room is pretty straight forward with recessed lighting, the walls are padded cushions hung from grommets

shade of blue really gives the room a relaxing feeling. I think the yellow curtins gives it a nice touch.
my twins shared a room it would look like this, can't wait to show them this room.
Why is it that so many of us are fearless about color in kids' rooms, yet much more timid with it in the rest of the house? The fresh, juicy palette in this space feels kid appropriate yet not at all childish, capped off by a sassy rug and multicolored chandelier that would work just as well in a living

This little boys room has a grey, red and chartreuse theme. Bunk beds, fun wool dotted rug, and hanging bubble chair with red leather upholstery. Eames desk chair. Grey lacquered nightstands for both floors of the bunked also serve as toy storage. Bunk beds each have their own reading lamp. Interior
child friendly place for kids to draw.
echoed back in the room and had Benjamin Moore make these into chalk paint for us. The dark stipe is a color called Steel Wool (BM2121-20) and the red is a color called Piñata (BM007). The wall color is painted in eggshell for ease of cleanup. Best of luck, Chango & Co.
