If the dog is left at home alone for short periods then the stopper is removed and the dog can turn on the water himself if he wants a drink and so without the stopper it does not overflow.

proof room? I don't know but these are definitely better than what we use now-regular crates
I have more than one dog and believe me it's better and more responsible to have a safe place for them when I am not home. The kennels are top of the line in this photo.

put a dog shower UNDER a counte topr! What would I do? Make the counter top hinged so that it could be swung up so the humans could step into the area and not crouch down and bang their head every time they went to stand up while/after washing the dogs.
