lighter cool colors can have a calming effect on children. Plus, many of these colors help small spaces seem a little bit more open. Try layering in shades of cream for some softness and contrast, and consider comfortable and cuddly textiles for warmth.

Where are the shades from??? Love the window treatments!!!!
Can you please tell me what material & color the shades are? I love the natural look of them! Thank you
Shades are from a company called Castec. Not sure of the style.
Thanks. It's white oak, 7" planks. Custom stain color (but it's a medium brown shade).

Where are the window shades from?
I'm looking for similar roller shades. A textural look and some light filtering.
These shades are actually just 2" wood blinds! Have you checked out Honeycomb shades by either Alta or Hunter Douglas- they have the ability to do different types of shades allowing light to no light in. Good Luck and thank you for your interest
options you could do. What are your accent colors you want to use with the red? A good neutral would be a a tan/beige tone which there are many shades of. But it's neutral enough to add any other colors you want to use. I would start by pulling the room together with a rug, accent pillow or art
