The floor is absolutely perfect the way it is. love the patina and the aged look. Exactly what I am looking for.
It is actually pine. I painted it with 3 different shades of grey and then put a water based sealer on it. That was 13 years ago. We have 3 dogs and the floor gets so much traffic that
