I have done some research on this sink. I believe it is a wooden dough bowl. They can be found on line in various shapes and sizes. It would need to be sealed if used as a sink. The best recommendation I received was to use wooden boat sealer. I hope this

This question was answered previously - what a neat idea: "The sink itself is an antique dutch grain bucket found at a flea market that we modified to slope at the bottom and we designed the stand. All custom made."
