We have a 1975 home that needs work. It is a mix of 70's contemporary with Frank Lloyd Wright details! I hate the minimal trim we have now so this really lets me visualize the look I want. Is this a dry wall
Thanks for the question. It was salvaged off of a barn in Silverton, Oregon from the 1930's. You can try Aurora Mills in Oregon. https://www.auroramills.com/
which things you can each contribute.Learn to compromise. In a relationship you both bring unique things to the party. You might not love your partner’s Van Halen record collection, and he or she might hate Shabby Chic. Find a middle ground that you both can live with such as putting the records on display
beige is out, but what happens when you bring them together? The warm beige undertones balance out the coolness of the grey, resulting in a home that’s sophisticated, serene and inviting. Layer the neutral palette with slicks of white and vibrant colour to add interest and a touch of drama.

photo has long been a favorite of mine, and obviously of a lot of yours too (it has been added to more than 18,000 of your personal ideabooks). Yes, it’s got fabulous doors and an incredible carved newel, but what determines its style is that fabulous pendant light. I know this is not one of our usual cheap
scout a vintage bargain light and give it a spruce-up and rewiring. Hit ReStore on a regular basis to see what comes in. Spray paint a tired builder’s-grade lantern a snazzy color you love. Or repurpose something else into a fab light — perhaps a birdcage or a basket. Here are 12 ideas for making lights

GARDENING There is nothing more charming than a watering can perched on a porch or by a potting bench. It’s also practical. You can fill it with enough water to water several plants, but not so much that it’s hard to lug and hard to pour. Watering cans are particularly good for container gardens and for overhead

pantry-less kitchen. Its small size allows it to be tucked neatly into a corner nook or closet, while tiered shelving maximizes storage space. When it’s time to designate a sous-chef, roll it out to create extra prep space.
The galley kitchen functioned just fine for the client, it just needed an update, as it was all about linoleum and a gargantuan '80s microwave. Kristen refurbished it with new appliances and cabinets, and says “I felt that Carrera marble reflected modern times...but the original cooktop was so cool
it.” Cabinets stretch all the way to the ceiling to maximize storage. The iconic Starburst clock by George Nelson is another piece featured in MoMA’s collection.
