it is tedious but you need a good primer and a small brush to get in the cracks. Prep your walls with a light sanding and cleaning. Paint with roller and then fill cracks with the small brush

not by using a dry brush and chain. Few people have been able to determine an area on our custom counter tops or furniture, that was freshly sawn or sanded prior to finishing.
