The "guard tower" is not the look but we are looking for something surrounded in glass for the upstairs studio at least on two sides pointed toward the woods and golf course.

I like the clean lines of the fireplace (black steel and glass). I have almost the same surround (1950's, white painted brick) but open wood burning. I would like to retain the look, but update to a high efficiency

The chandelier. We see these glass ball pieces often on Houzz and like them for above the glass dining table. Might need two smaller ones at either end of the new front 12 x 30 room
like this table or the rug, but I like the modern art, white molding with simple sconces, light brown paint and slightly darker brown ceiling.

I'm wondering the name of the picture on the wall. Where can I purchase the wall art?
would paint the LR similar to the kitchen walls and then use apple green or similar color either in draperies, furniture (wood tables), rug or even art work. Apple green sounds so soothing.
