ya its standard gray "Saltillo grout" for floor and standard gray brick grout for ceiling.

I am using a super Saltillo that has been stained and glazed and don't like the way it looks with the traditional natural gray. I am thinking about using nutmeg for grout but
Looks like "Super Saltillo" which has slightly rounded edges and is a little more durable than regular Saltillo. You can get it at many, many tile & big box stores. Use gray grout for a traditional look. Grout lines have to be wide to accommodate the slightly irregular tiles. Saltillo has to be installed

Love the design! There are places in Phoenix that will stain the manganese saltillo to make it even darker. Did you do this?
It was purchased from Mexican Tile and Stone in Tucson, AZ. It is made in Mexico and available at various suppliers. It is saltillo tile - hexagon shape - in a moreno color.

Yes, definitely! The bathroom above is not what you would call traditional Southwest but the Saltillo tiles still look great. In a country-inspired design they will add to the country feel.
material in this bathroom is a type of Saltillo (fired clay tile). Saltillo is known for being softer and unless you order it glazed from the manufacturer it does need to be sealed every 5-6 years depending on how much foot traffic there is in that area. Saltillo is a great look, though, and very popular
