The mantel and legs are made from Old-Growth Redwood. It wasn't treated or sealed. The wood was originally part of a water tank in the hills above San Rafael, CA. It probably dates back to beginning of the
furniture set up--with the arm chair and ottoman in the corner by the stair case--that would open the room up for a huge coffee table like this one, which I also kind of like.

I can see you use Crystal Cabinetry. Can you recommend one of their stock colors that is a 'warm white'. I am looking at Designer White, Cotton Ball or Frosty White
look like a wall was never there.
We want to put in new flooring and want the easy to be able to wash tile especially near the sink (spills etc) and also like kthe formal look of hardwood under the dining table. We have a large dog and worry about him scratching new wood flooring. How do we make it work
