Hello - great question. These concrete screen wall blocks were ubiquitous a half a century ago, but were a challenge to track down today. We did find a couple of sources in Arizona and California. But for
masonry material provider, County Materials. They actually had the molds. Took them a while to find them, but then did a great job of making us new blocks from the original molds. Thanks for the question and your interest in your project.

What is the brand and cost of the containers with red lids?
I see the counter is ikea butcher block, is it a waterfall counter in this material? Thanks
We didn't stain the butcher block. It's oak that we oiled. The homeowner likes oiling it regularly to keep the rich color.
With a stain? My butcher block is to much lighter!

The family plans to make this a guesthouse for relatives from the U.K., but it'll be their home until the main house is complete.Originally, the kitchen felt closed off from the rest of the house. Do not like the grass around the blocks as it would be difficult to maintain, growing over the edges.
Love plants and large square blocks
