half-empty tins of paint, DIY gear and clapped-out old gadgets, it’s time to realise its potential. Talk to estate agents to find out what buyers in your area want most – living space, another bedroom, an office – and give them exactly that.

i love the area rug. where can i find that? thank you!
Thanks! It's from Home Decorators Collection - Martha Stewart Living, Casbah rug.
I like the simplicity. Don't like that it's called "country chic" but I like the flowing curtains, the rug, the floors, and the sitting area.

I like the large desk area and the corner unit. Pat does not want to sit in front of the window, sitting off to the side is better for him. He needs a large surface area for his two computers and printer and to be able to spread out at quarter end
against the wall. This leaves the remainder of your space open for enjoying the den with family or friends. “Keep the desk counter shallow, but bump the area where you sit out a bit for more computer/work space,” says interior designer Debra Campbell. “A long and shallow desk takes up less depth in the room

Love the rug under the table?
Where did the rug come from? Size? Manufacturer? Name of pattern?
Brick wall carried over from wine cellar to niche area off of dining room; but different finish to bricks. Like heavy chairs with plank table. Don't like fabric / rugs / or moldings
Like the niche. Maybe for kitchen eating area since we are removing cabinetry in that area.
