Another aspect that defines this look is the cabinet door style — often either a simple shaker door or a shaker door with a bead moulding. How high are the ceilings and how tall is this door?
is this a shaker style door with no decorative edges along the panels?
Is this door narrower than regular
Please let me know who makes the shaker style door...
Many door manufacturers will call this a "F" or flat panel. This door is a "shaker" style door and the square profiles and flat panels create a modern, sharp, very clean look to this door.
pharmchic - this door might look narrower than usual, but I'd guess this is a 2'4 or 2'6" wide door. What makes
The door is probably 8'0" tall and the ceiling is probably at least 10 ft tall. - If you go with a 8'0" tall door, I'd recommend going with an 1-3/4" thick door, not 1-3/8" as it feels too skinny for such a tall door. 8'0 tall doors are pretty standard in the industry now. Best of luck!!

high is this door....8 ft? do you have all the dimensions of this door? I love it!!
what type of 2 panel door is this? thanks!
I notice one knob on the lower cabinets. Does one door overlap the opposing door so that if you pull the knob you can open both doors? And if so
so, is there a name for that style of cabinet or door?
I'm guessing those are folding doors that open to reveal a washer & dryer so only one knob is necessary.
I'd recommend calling this a 2 panel shaker style door. We and many other door manufacturers simple call this a 2 Panel Door - with a S sticking or "shaker" sticking, and a "F" or Flat Panel
tall door. Industry standards recommend 4 hinges on over 7'0" tall doors, plus your lock is usually at 36" off the floor, so based on 20 years experience, figure this to be an 8'0" tall door. When doing 8'0" tall doors, I'd highly recommend going with an 1-3/4" thick door.

The cabinets are painted with what finish, eggshell or satin? Is it maple? I am concerned that the paint will chip off the doors and trim- is there a glaze or finish to protect it?

different names and can also fall into the wire-pull category. These pulls are traditional and just decorative enough without being too fussy for a Shaker door. Mixing finishes on dark and light cabinets helps to create contrast on each and keeps the kitchen from feeling stale.
