have just purchased a similar sink with the high back and I am wondering how to install it. I don't want it too high above the counter but want to show the apron front while having the counter flush with the sink. Any advice? Thanks ~ Ashlea
just purchased very similar sink from signaturehardware.com http://www.signaturehardware.com/product4985 Sandford Cast Iron Kitchen Sink with Drain Board and Apron - 42"
Check out Schoolhouse Electric, Rejuvenation or Barnlight electric all of similar lighting.
This type of sink simply wasn't designed for nor intended for the style of installation you've described. If you want a sink that shows off it's apron and is below counter level - you need a Farmhouse sink.

Aren't they great! I believe those were custom made for the house, but you can find similar fixtures at Rejuvenation Lighting (they're professionals here on houzz).
with an oil based paint). Some of the clients used a contrasting base color and lightly sanded to have a sort of distressed look with the base color showing through (it looks like there is a brown base below the almost white floor pictured). The paint holds up pretty well, but the floors do need to be repainted

I like the description of the floor: wood, painted with half water half latex white paint to let the wood grain show through.

Are these custom cabinets? Or from a manufacturer? I love them.
This tile is from Ann Sacks- it is Capriccio White Gloss
We used honed black labrador (or labrador black) and its fine. I was scared off by reviews of absolute black showing everything. This stone had understated speckling so when its honed the color is slightly uneven which gives it some visual interest plus its more
I am away from office but they are 30" wide, I think they are probably 4' or 4'-6" tall.
