only for towels. The glass is half inch. I wouldn't use something like this for a safety grab bar. Towels can handle falling down, not a person! Shower door companies might have something that would work for you. We have worked with Solarium Skylight on various projects.

What are the dimensions of shower and bathtub.
This is very approx. but i believe the shower is about 3'- 3 1/2 wide and the bath tub is 6-7' long. Thanks!
