the gas ovens ARE available thru Viking and others but they start at $2000! There are (GB) imports at much less but they might not pass UL approval...

double oven is a must. I love the side by side. I have never seen it and I was stuck on the "stacked" ovens.

aised side-by-side single ovens. This is an arrangement seen more frequently in modern and contemporary kitchens. It's possible that your cabinet company may offer a single-oven tall cabinet. You can do two of these side by side and make the upper and lower sections a food pantry.

Do you find the ovens too low when using them?
have an oven installed in our island as well. How deep does the island have to be to accommodate a wall oven?
on the walls...stone of some sort?
I don't see oven vents. Where is the venting for the island ovens?
love the walls What are they tiles, or stone or brick
Could you please tell me the brand/model of the under counter oven used in your kitchen?
I have the same KitchenAid in my island and I love! love! love! it there. I have a second oven in my perimeter counters as an electric oven wih gas cooktop. My ovens are seperated as I have 3 adults daughters
so two side by side baking at the same time would heat me out of the kitchen.

top. Wall ovens have their own ventilation system for cooling. I don't believe either system is specifically designed for venting cooking aromas, but ventilating air in itself removes the aroma along with smoke and vapors. We have never designed a kitchen layout so as to keep the ovens near the hood

I am getting Kitchenaid appliances and want to put the Kitchenaid refrigerator in a 37.5" cabinet next to a Kitchenaid 30" double oven cabinet. I wasn't sure if the two appliances so close to each other would work but that is all the room I have available. Is that the same configuration
are the ovens in a 33" cabinet? Thanks so much for the information! It will really help me determine if the configuration I am proposing is possible.
a 36" wall cabinet above the refrigerator with a 3/4" side panel on the right and the oven cabinet on the left. The oven cabinet was 3" wider than normal so the refrigerator door would not hit the oven handles when it was open. My advice is to let the cabinet provider help you with the appliance openings

against the wall and the sink on the side of the kitchen island (to save more workspace). Whilst having a stove placed as in the photo means the chef can look out to the rest of the group they're entertaining, I often wonder about venting, and splatter from cooking when I see cooktops positioned this way.
