What is the least expensive window treatment for this style window that will block light? Seems every blind (even room darkening) allows light through the sides.
There are privacy tracks you can add to shades but it takes away from the beauty of the windows. There will always be some light peaking through the sides. You could add simple drapery panels to cover the edges of the shades.

size of of your rod and rings — if that is your hardware of choice — is yet another factor. The narrower or smaller your window, the thinner the rod can be. Larger and wider windows will require heftier rods.

where did you get the curtain treatments and hardware
Hi, There is no set height for installing the panels. If you can hang them higher they will cover less of the window. In this instance I had them installed so they were even with the top of the arch, because I wanted to overlap the arch a bit. Gina
the window treatment over the half-moon window might be workable in the dining room in the Florida house
