If there was no physical boundary between the cooker and units on either side, would you have used a splash back for full length?
the range cooker themselves. It looks like a Rangemaster but I can't be 100% sure.
Hi. Do you mean - would we have used a full height splashback behind the oven? If there was no division between the cooker and units I would recommend a full height splashback for the units and the cooker. See this

but you can check out AGA Cookers and see if they make one! our home is on a small island and very old and drafty too! so this works for us , it's always on and heats up our kitchen nicely. wonderful for cooking as well.
