Agrarian Homestead
design is a contemporary interpretation of what it means to live close to the land and establish an active and vital indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Like a family farm, this site was designed as an extended living and working space-for recreation, entertainment and garden production. Arcanum Architecture
Could we could design some kind of pergola that attached to the house by the family room windows that extended out over the bbq area? Would provide structure to put lighting on to light that area
Great idea for backyard area between home and garage? Where should we put a BBQ?

Hi, What is the flooring brand name, family, and color name, it is very nice, is this engineered wood??
the main entrance to the kitchen, then an arched opening into a butler's pantry, an arched opening to an eating nook, and an arched opening to the family room (off to the right in the above photo). With all these openings, we had limited wall room, and we decided to bring the main activity of the kitchen
This large kitchen is located literally at the center of a sprawling California home--and in this 25' x 25' area alone, there are 6 separate doors or openings leading out of the space. In this photo you can see 2 of them: the arched

Leesburg Traditional Kitchen - Fridge & Ovens
Anyone able to tell me the granite? Looks like something from the Giallo family, but I see lots of black, cream and tans. Maybe Star Beach?? Love it!!
o Or you can always go the more traditional route, with a natural stone tile like this one: http://www.houzz.com/photos/6569818/Leesburg-Kitchen--Family-Room--Deck-transitional-kitchen-dc-metro (only perhaps in a warmer or more beige tone for this kitchen). Hope that helps! -Emily
colors might be Benjamin Moore's "Hodley Red" #HC-65, or "Santa Fe Tan" #2097-40 and the colors surrounding (https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/for-your-home/color-gallery#&ce_vm=0&ce_x=0&ce_y=21). Hope this helps! -Emily

This layout is very unique. I like the single chairs by the window with the matching ceramic footstools.
Really like how the family room is 2 steps down

I love the idea of a hammock somewhere in the home. It reminds me of my childhood :)
Love openness of glass for this Family Room.
that are very opposite," he says. "I decided not to blend them but to contrast them." Putting the grill against the far wall allows it to serve as a single heavy element in the open structure. The contrast between horizontal and vertical lines helps to balance out the space.
