It is a sliding door that is designed to fully pocket. This particular door system is by Fleetwood, and there are many other brands I have also used in the past that are often less expensive, such as Western and Heritage. Hopefully, that helps! -Christian

part of sliding doors with glass especially for 9' in height if solid wood like we use, needs to be the tracking system. It has to be heavy duty to be able to carry the weight of the solid wood doors and glass. Good luck!

stable when sliding. The doors don't have any type of latch but they do stay in position when closed. There are also panels behind the doors so when closed has the appearance of a paneled wall. I hope this helps. Thanks for the question, Chris & Laurie.
