Ideas how to conceal home air conditioner by small, stone patio. Thanks.
It's a nice relaxation area for a small place.
Adapting Classic StyleSmaller gardens. When we think of formal gardens, we often think of grand estates, but the tenets of classic design can be helpful in designing a smaller garden as well. Classicism’s emphasis on proportion works beautifully in this example

Someone posted this patio to The Buzz and I'm grateful. It's a secret garden that's perfect for relaxing and socializing outdoors.

What are the beautiful large white flowers at the back of the garden(infront of the fence)?
Is this primarily a shade or medium to full light garden?
Heuchera thrives, perhaps because it is in an established woodland garden?i have no idea why...to be honest. . And, surprisingly, there is some variety of Sedum which does well in our deep shade! But I am moving it.
Michigan is to the West. The rear of the garden is mostly shaded, but the front edge gets plenty of sun.
We have a shade garden in mostly low to deep shade. The Heuchera
Sedum is not the best choices for shade gardens, but the Heuchera Plum Pudding does just fine in a partial shade location. Deep shade will cause slower growth, however. This planting is a mixed sun/shade with the very edge being mostly sunny. A good shade garden substitute for the Heuchera would be Ligularia

This garden path was created next to the new master bedroom addition we designed as part of the Orr Residence renovation. The curving limestone paver path is defined by the plantings. RDM and the client selected plantings that are very happy in the shade as this part of the yard gets very little direct
direct sunlight. Check out the rest of the Orr Residence photos as this project was all about outdoor living! the clients actually did the vast majority of the garden design once the spaces had been defined. As far as costs they are going to vary from region to region and in your plan materials so I would try and find a local landscape architect or designer to lay something out and give you a preliminary price

Love the center of the garden with the bird bath
One classic herb garden design is that of small beds with brick pathways between them. Here, that approach has been expanded into a formal patio area with room for seating. No need for riotous color; the varying shades of green provide enough interest, and the cool colors reflect the landscape beyond
space for lounging, dining or entertaining. Low stone walls add structure, enclosure, visual interest and additional seating in this combined veggie garden and dining patio.
