Hey Nice Garden
New Perennial Style
Oakland we designed a small front yard that packs a lot of color. This new perennial garden is low-water and provides a lush setting in contrast to the wide open walkway to the front porch. The clean symmetry of the path is offset by the wild display of flowering plants.

love how small it looks from front
An outbuilding can hide in plain sight. Because this small wonder is set down from the ridge and covered with a green roof, you won't know it's here if you're not looking for it.

Japanese gardens had to be fed by a local stream in order to work, and they had special techniques for doing this. One famous example of this is the pond system in Kinkakuji, or "Garden of the Golden Pavilion" in Kyoto, which is a World Heritage Site. Good luck, let me know how it goes!
This is one of those beautiful landscapes I wouldn't have the foggiest notion how to design or build, but wish I could, or could afford.
Love this pond and the landscaping!
sicker in small ponds, because they’re swimming around in water with higher concentrations of their own waste. Deeper ponds mean more water volume and cleaner water. The fish are healthier, making it easier to maintain the right chemical balance.Deeper ponds make fish harder targets for predators like birds

it was small enough to categorize as a shed? I'd love to know because this would be great for us too and we live close to SF in Marin County. Thanks!
This is a small backyard space. I like the design.

Gardening in the steps. Fescue, thyme, and other low-growing plants soften lines, and add color and texture.

maintain this garden to prevent the groundcover for strangling the other plants. Thank you.
Hi This garden is spectacular! I'm trying to design a patio that is somewhat impervious and will allow water to seep between the stones (a local requirement). Are these pavers set in
monochromatic garden when both sunny and shady environments have to be considered together. Here the designer has added soft apricot daylilies (Hemerocallis hybrids) to the sunnier side, echoing the colors of the shade-loving grasses and hostas. Butter-yellow roses, such as 'Graham Thomas', would also have been
at some design techniques to compensate for that.
