How did you get the seam to disappear so smoothly?
When the bench is closed - it looks so well hidden - I can only see the seam on the front b/c I know where to look. Is it that smooth in person - or is this more in the photography? What kind of cut/edge is used
kept the plywood top that "outlines" the lid and filled it with wood filler to make it smooth as it was already on when he saw the bow in the plywood lid. :( Hopefully the pattern will not come through, it looks smooth now. I have some soft close brackets on order that will hopefully protect my little
I made the seem to be 3/16" when its closed. In person, it is really smooth looking. I also do think the lighting and the picture has a lot to do with the seem being so smooth as well! Thanks for the compliment.
