broken roof. Its a way to get the angle on the edge of the roof, seen from the left it can resemble the roof line of other house structures. But, the split roof gains vertical space and internal light.
especially like the sky lights above open doorway. Also like the metal roof if it would look good with our shake roof on main house. Like the glass door also

This looks cool. Paneling coordinated with (floating) sink base, and mirror illusion of larger space. Even a pocket door (okay - maybe basement bath with the pocket door since Beth says hardware is not as good)

frame. Now we are looking to do 3/4 mdf. We are nervous that these hinges (I ordered the same ones you used) will not support this size door and that it may split the mdf. Is your lid smaller? Thanks for your help and for uploading pictures of your beautiful projects.
What style hinges are these, i've tried regular door hinges but the back of the plywood rubs?
Thank you sooo much! We completed the job yesterday. Ended up using a piano hinge as the door is so heavy due to its size. The contractor didn't feel the other hinges I had ordered would support the door. He kept the plywood top that "outlines" the lid and filled it with wood filler to make it
