Real stone doesn't carry the real thin stack in any of the good colors anymore. Discontinued gray, bluish gray, greenish gray and charcoal. They do have shadowstone but each stone face is thicker and bulkier looking.

Stacked Stone can be used in a variety of applications. Here it is used as a backsplash behind the vanity in the master bath.
Can stacked stone, such as the Golden Gate Split Stone, be used in a shower?
How are the mirrors attached to the stacked stone
grout the stacked stone, what do you use to stick it to the walls? I hate grouting/spacing
The stacked stone comes in sheets or preconnected pieces so there is minimal space between the individual stones. To install, you use thinset like you would when installing other types of tile. Check out YouTube for a number of videos regarding the installation of stacked stone - some are very helpful
and the stacked stone would be installed around them.
Definitely do not use stacked stone in a shower. It is not designed for a wet environment and it would be nearly impossible to keep the water from getting between the stones. I think you are on the right track with similarly colored tiles, maybe

No the concrete is not sealed it is just wet. The stacked stone is dry stacked Black Quartzite. Thanks for your questions.

house had stone no longer available, so it is slightly different. I was real happy with the final product. The stone is much harder than we expected, so the masons weren't very happy, but we worked through it. You should be able to take this photo to any rock yard and they will be able to help you get
