A sliding patterned glass panel separates
A sliding patterned glass panel separates the master bedroom from the hallway. Finne drew the pattern freehand with a pen, then digitized it and had it transfered to a film for the glass. The pattern is thickest at the bottom and lightens up as it goes higher.

what dark stain color did you use on the knotty alder? It is a such a nice color! thanks
Was a patina used on the alder mocha or just the stain alone?
Thank you for your question. The stain used on the Knotty Alder is Dura Supreme's "Mocha" finish.

brand and color of stain used here?
Is it just a matter of selecting the colour and going for it, like with paint? Or are there limitations to what you can do with staining? I am interested in possibility using polished and stained concrete as a bathroom
difficult in the bathroom due to limited area, the machines that polish need some space to move. Unless the walls aren't up it may be a challenge. Staining might be a better option.

What manufacturer did you use to stain the concrete please?
I am trying to achieve the same look of the flooring in this pic. What brand is the stain?
that the name of the color used to stain the floor?
Bill Johnson with Johnson Cabinets would be able to answer with the exact type of wood - his website is ..., though they are likely from a durable hardwood such as maple or birch, and stained to match the tile on the kitchen
The concrete stain was done by a independent contractor local to the Austin, TX area. He was hired through the builder we worked with, Keith Durio with JKD Builders.

What kind of textured glass was used for the cabinets?
The glass is seedy glass. We get it from the local glass company. Sometimes it is called Seeded Glass. You will find that they sometimes also have something called "Seedy Swirl" (which is a heavier pattern), and they often have a light seedy as well as a heavy seedy glass. We usually go
only say that either option you describe could work, depending upon the final effect you're after. I've done a painted black (or dark-stained) island with a dark-stained kitchen, with a white painted kitchen, and (as you can see in this photo) with an ivory paint w/glaze kitchen. If possible, could you
go for the lightest pattern because in a traditional kitchen such as this one, we are looking for a handmade, antique look, not a fancy-glass look.
