Are the walls and ceiling paneling or individual planks?
Is the pine wall finish a satin or flat poly? Or an oil type finish? Thanks!
on the wall but am curious as to whether or not it can be attached to metal framing. We went with that because it was obviously quicker and easier to work with, now I wonder if I limited my decorating options by going that way. What do you think?

type of wood is used on the accent wall?
What wood/ stain are the floors?
reclaimed wood. you can achieve a similar effect by buying new wood, hitting it with chains, dropping tools, etc. mix the species too. then use a product called lifetime wood treatment http://www.valhalco.com/index.php which creates the silver/aged patina

type of stain was applied to the wood? The effect is beautiful!
spec. The wood is resawn Douglas Fir and the finish is a solid color stain by Olympic called "outside white". A tannin stain blocking coat should have been applied first -- this would have prevented the dark bleed through. So -- that is how you can create this look -- don't use a tannin block and at first
first the wall will appear white but in time, and if memory serves, this did not take more than a few months, the tannins will naturally bleed through . If you are worried it won't happen -- i would try a sample and wait and see. Best, Cathy
The lightness of the wood and the concrete floor with epoxy finish
I like the use of wood siding as a finish material. Better than Sheetrock, but not too

The architect made a conscious decision to conceal the sliding track in the ceiling to allow the proportions of the room and the adjacent stone wall to dictate the panel size, rather than the opening its meant to conceal.
