You'll want to look for at least 18/10 stainless steel. Depending on where you are in the country it should be fairly easy to find a custom fabrication shop to make something like this. Stainless Steel counters would compare with higher-end Granite as it relates to cost.
The sink is integrated right into the stainless steel counter tops. The counters were made by a Chicago company called Steelskin (formally known as Soupcan). Thanks for your question!

This looks to me like its stainless steel which looks best when kept polished. If you have kids this can be a tall order. Have you thought about zinc which is gets better as it ages

type and thickness of the steel?
Hello, I was wondering how thick the steel should be to make it hard to dent during use but still economical. 18 gauge perhaps? Also, what type is used? Is this 304, 316, something else? Thanks!

Where can I buy the table and chairs?
looking to invite some stainless onto my deck design to match my home. Most of the deck is all pressure treated wood, but my home is modern w/ a galvanized steel roof so I want to tie that into the deck. So I have a bar top to do, as well as a BBQ Island and potentially a table that I'd like to make
make the tops Stainless. Thoughts? Appreciate any help... Also, the house is a Passive Solar design, so the Sun beats on the deck all day/night. I am going to do some 'sail shades' at some point to cover the entire deck.

The stainless does get hot with direct sun. Indirect heat is not much of an issue. This backyard faces northeast and does not have much of an issue most of the day. Thanks for asking!
