do you install and secure a stair runner?
Hi. I have a curved stair case and many carpet installers have told me not to use a linear design, due to not being able to match up the lines. How were you able to make that work? Looks great!
The carpet would have to be cut and seamed at the top and bottom of every riser along the curve - It's not a simple or inexpensive installation.

striped runner - how to handle turn
On a carpet with stripes, using a mitered corner is very attractive. I would use the same type of corner for a runner that has a border. In this case, they maintained the same distance from the wall on the landing as on the stairs.
