I'd like to know if you have any cost breakdown for the glass treads/metal stringers?
They are 1 1/2" laminated glass
Are the stair treads glass or acrylic?
Those stairs are 4' wide. To go to 6' the glass would need to become quite a bit thicker, like 2 1/2". Other than that, other elements could remain the same

Love that there's a contrast with the frosted glass! Very nice.
Very good design, same idea came to me; metallic frame more safe for floating stairs, better if you can hide it.
glass divider-the whole thing is sooo cool
glass tread and the bent metal tread
Of course, these stairs are also ideal when there's an adjacent view and source of natural light. Even when the stair isn't all glass, light streams deep into the interior. Even a steel stringer, whether bent to form a ziggurat

for anyone even remotely afraid of heights. Glass treads, glass handrail almost completely disappear these floating stairs. The use of minimal materials in a rather complicated form make for an interesting architectural feature.
This is like the glass stair at the iconic 5th Avenue Apple Store. Not
ry impact with this glass staircase.
As seen from above, the stair's transparency lets all of the architecture and design come through. Of course, just as the stair's transparency reveals everything from above, it will, of course, reveal everything from below.Note that glass treads require a surface

Love color of treads against white risers. Glass
Tempered glass is used for doors and in high-traffic areas. The glass is heated and then cooled with a blast of very cold air, making the brittle surface cool faster than the relatively soft core. The result is glass that will break into tiny square pieces that have rounded edges. Tempered glass is stronger
