What is this door made of?
Love the door, was it painted? and where did you get that fabulous arm holding the candlestick?
Allison I would be interested in that stencil, can u give me any details on how to obtain this from u, along with cost
without a stencil. It was hand drawn on one side and then mirror transferred on the opposite side. Then I painted the design. I make custom hand painted designs specific to the surface they are to be applied to. This particular design was inspired by a damask fabric.

floor stencil used here to echo the oversize flower pattern used in the adjacent hall. Drawer faces are cut to mimic the openings on the salvaged pantry doors. Counters and backsplash are recycled chalkboards from Ballard High School fit with a stainless edge.

for the stencils - Archival by C2 after the first two coats of Swedish finish had been applied to the floors and then another coat was applied after the stencils to give it the needed protection.
We had the glass back painted with the same RAL color of the stove.
pinned the stencils from a photo of another floor like this. I used Photoshop to cut/distort into a flat shape. Then scaled it up / had it printed at Fed Ex/Kinkos on their plotter and then traced onto YUPO (a plastic like paper) and cut out the stencils. I showed the client how to paint the first couple

Try an all-over stencil. Want the look of wallpaper without the high price tag? Why not try your hand at an all-over wall stencil instead? There are many cool, modern versions on the market, and even doing a single accent wall would make

steps with stencils and a concrete stain.
Jensen stenciled a welcome message right on the cement.
2. Spell out a welcome. A stencil, a can of spray paint and presto! A plain concrete stoop turns into a hospitable howdy. If you can't or don't want to paint directly on the surface, try stenciling a plain cotton or sisal doormat instead.
8. Stencil a message. Eschew the typical welcome mat in favor of something more creative: words stenciled directly on the ground. Paint words on the steps, front walk or porch floor for a personal touch.
