Did you need a construction variance for these steps? I am thinking in the US this would never be allowed. :-/
Hi Mrs Medard, It's a metal structure placed in the wall on which we slided the wooden box. Still, We only built the wooden steps so I do not have much details about the metal structure. Thanks Hubert
(Gepetto) manufactured all the wooden parts. The general contractor was responsible for the metal structure attached to the wall. We Custom built the steps that were later on attached to the metal structure. Hope that helps Hubert

Grass to rear Miscanthus sinesis, Near railing Acer palmatum Garnet. To the right of the acer looks like Buxus which is also on opposite side of steps too.
