oblong glass table top would work if two chairs were placed along side one away from the kitchen bar top and the other at the ends. The glass table top
could work. We would replace the current glass top with an oblong. I would like the dimensions of,the glass top in your picture.

What type of wood/ stain is used for the vanity and is it custom?
Did you stain an IKEA vanity? They sell one called white stained oak. Thinking I'll try to stain it a bit darker.
This is a walnut stain over hickory - it brings some depth to this neutral space.

Are kitchen floors red or white oak? Width? Stain color and sealant used??
Is that a stained pattern? Or, another material? ....very interesting twist on patter!
Walnut inlays were used and stained same color as oak flooring. Walnut takes stain darker. It turned out beautifully!
Maybe the dining area could be somewhat separated by sliding glass doors in a wide opening off the kitchen

Mud brown is a custom stain created by our paint shop. So unfortunately you won't be able to find this exact stain in stores.
